Have you ever asked yourself "What do I believe in?" Is it love? God? Government? Freedom? Or yourself? With the help of filmmaker Christoph Janosch Delcker, young European participants from the workshop "Do You Speak European?" explore their deepest faith and doubts, and share with us their beliefs.

The magic we thought the fairies could cast upon us has worn off by now. We no longer believe in tales written by others, we're sceptical when we read the news and we don't trust political candidates' speeches. Doubt is part of who we are. However, believing defines us better. Believing in something, be it world peace, God, yourself, father Christmas, or eco-friendly products, is the core principle that keeps people going. We - a bunch of young Europeans - took turns in saying what we believed in. Individually, our opinions differ. Collectively, we all agree that we believe in people. We'd really like you to join us and tell the world what you believe in.

Now it's your turn: what do YOU believe in? We want to see and hear your responses. You can make your own short film, create your own postcard, cartoon, poster, poem, story... Or just drop us an email. It's up to you! Write to us at editorial[at]europeandme.eu and we will publish your response on www.what-do-you-believe-in.eu
